Cancellation Policy

 

CANCELLATION and CHANGES:
We have a 14-day cancellation policy. It means, that if the Guest cancels their stay with us WITHIN the 14 days prior Guest’s arrival date, the Guest will be charged for a full stay. No excuse will be accepted. However, if we will be able to re-rent the same room for the same charge , we will charge only $20 administration (cancellation) fee.
If the Guest cancels BEFORE 14 days of the cancellation period, the charge will be only $20 administration (cancellation) fee. All cancellations made by the Guest must be done by email, not by phone.
CHANGES IN DATES: If you make a change in your reservation for another date, the above policy applies. You will be charged fully if your change is within 14 days prior of your arrival, but you will get the full credit (minus $20) for a future stay. The change must be made within 60 days from the call date requesting the change. The cancellation policy applies regardless of weather, road and snow conditions, illness, or early checkout.
NO SHOW: If a Guest will not come at all, he/she will be charged as if he/she would cancel within 14 days cancellation period stated above.
Check-in is from 3 PM to 8 PM in Winter time and 3 PM to 9 PM in the Summer time.
LATE CHECK-IN: if the Guest checks in after the Hotel is closed, we place the key to your room in an envelope with your name, and tape the envelope to the “Strawberry Inn sign located in the main entry. The key to the room also opens the entry door to the Hotel hall where the room is located. Please keep the key always with you, so that you won’t get locked out. If you do not turn in your key(s) from the room at your departure, you will be charged $20 for each lost key.
NO PETS and NO SMOKING in any place inside the building including hotel rooms. This rule is made for the benefit of our Guests. If smoking or unauthorized dog is detected in the room, halls, or anywhere inside the building, the Guest will be charged $300 and evicted immediately. No refund will be made. The money will be charged to your credit card immediately without notice.
NO COOKING in the room. If detected, the guest will be charged a $300 penalty.
ANY DAMAGE ALSO WILL BE CHARGED TO THE GUEST AT THE RATE ABOVE.
Quests are expected to leave the hotel room as found on arrival. It is understood, that linen and towels will be used, but not soiled or stained beyond re-use. If we cannot wash out the stains made by Guests on linen or towels or anywhere else, we will charge the Guest twice the cost of purchase of the new item. Also, if the room is found to be misused after check out, the Guest will be charged, without notice, to their credit card on file for whatever the costs incurred might be. Photos will be made and shall be presented on request of the Quest as proof. If other than regular cleaning must be done, the Guest will be charged $30/hour to clean the room and bring it to rental condition. Please note, that all trash must be in the trash cans not all over the floor. That would require also an extra cleaning charge.
CASH GUESTS: All walk-in Guests paying cash will be required to show an identification card with Guests’ photo, which will be copied and filed. A deposit of $300 shall be collected above the room rent and fees. This deposit shall be returned to the Guest after his/her room is inspected and checked for damages. This sometimes cannot be done at the time of Guest departure, but it will be mailed to the Guest within 3 days after the Guest checks out in the form of our company’s check.

Any claim regarding your reservation or stay must be made within 30 days from your check out

The hotel reserves the right to change room rates at any time without notice.

All other rules and regulations apply as per the original agreement.
